This takes place during WWII at a concentration camp. If you have read Intermission and The Refrain by Ashley Pullo, then you know Adam, Chloe, Chris, Natalie and Zach. This needs to be taught in schools. I often suspected that Simon had a thing for Andi, in spite of his attitude, and as the story progressed, I saw an entirely different side of him. My 4 YOS loves these books and gets very engaged with the stories.
