I highly recommend this book to any new Christian as well as any seasoned ones. There is a lot of information about his wife and children in the book too. But I, in my 30s, also loved this book and found many layers in the parable that relate to my life. I personally did not want to put it down. I related to his struggles as if they were my own. People wanting a more scholarly approach to those times may find this book interesting as a curiosity.
