The plot is tight and logical and moves at a good pace; the description of the various locations, from NYC to Paris to the prisons of Iraq, clearly painted. UNDER THE GUNS OF THE RED BARON: The Complete Record of Von Richthofen's Victories and Victims Fully Illustrated Another excellent book would be Greg Van Wyngarden's 'Richthofen's Circus': Jagdgeschwader Nr 1 (Aviation Elite Units) which goes into more detail on the airmen that flew with the Red Baron. "The Finishers" by Audrey Parente — A perfect society was the goal, but it proves slightly imperfect with a tyrannical health care system. Bordewich, the author of several books on American history, is a good writer—he knows when to savor details, and when to move things along. This book spans over several years of Rafe & Matthew’s relationship, with the final chapter/epilogue being about 20-some years into the future. She divulges her tumultuous past with style, wit and grace all the while showing her readers, wisdom and the strength to endure.
