Chart-topping lists, prayers, and girly art make this book a perfect gift for birthdays, graduation, and back to school. This isn't really my style if book. The book is very repetitive without actually giving much information. Really, really good fantasy book that has everything anyone can look for in that type of book and even more. The author was an aeronautical engineer during the thirties and forties - this is a translation of his German. I highly recommend this book for people newly interested in plant-based nutrition. It is a great story and a wonderful way to teach kids about Pi. The frantic search for a cure-all for the evil cancer drives the plot of this novel through all its gyrations and mysteries. From a little boy who wants to keep his body private in the bathroom to a story about a little girl whose step father has touched her inappropriately, these stories share one crucial theme: when the child tells a trusted adult, everything gets better.
