Overall, it's a great concept for a book, but it's definitely a young adult book. On page 23: "I see these turn of events as so powerful. He won the Hugo Award seven times and the Nebula Award three times, as well as many other awards, notably including the Grand Master Award of the Science Fiction Writers of America for a lifetime of distinguished achievement. One of the most readable, comprehensive and respected woks on symbolism - not just Masonic symbolism - but symbolism generally. Part 1 deals with Lemberg in XXth century and the turmoil under polish, russian and austrian rule. As for the "big event," which I won't describe in case anyone reading this still wants to read the book and have something to discover in it, it is hinted at so broadly that there is little surprise. No one really cares about Longtail now that they have a new blind cat. I cannot recommend this book enough and especially the unabridged audiobook.
